Exams finished: I'm BACK

Just finished my exams again. Second Term exams are always nasty, specially this one as they occured only a month after our first terms. Barely any time to do anything else. But I'm back after the strenous two weeks.

Usually i spend my new freedom going to the forum. It is basically a forum to discuss the open source revolution though discussing closed source software is also allowed. I also have found an abode in DiskPost. It is a forum for discussing open source and also, the site admin (ocalhoun) gives away free open source disks to the members who request at the cost of Disk$'s. I occasionally browse the GeekWorld forum also. Its a general tech forum.

I would love to say that I'M BACK.

Black And White

This is one of my favourite poems and is quite well written.....

Dear white fella
When i born, i black
When i grow up, i black
When i go in sun, i black
When i go cold, i black
When i scared, i black
When i sick, i black
And when i die, i still black

You white fella
When u born, you pink
When u grow up, you white
When you go in sun, you red,
When you cold, you blue,
When you scared, you yellow
When you sick, you green
And when you die, you grey

And you have the cheek to call me coloured!!!!

Debate Settled:- Egg Came Before Chicken

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? According to a scientist, a philosopher and a chicken farmer, it was the egg, British newspapers reported on Friday.

The key to the age-old question lies in the fact that genetic material does not change throughout an animal's life, the first bird that evolvedinto a chicken must have initially existed as an embryo inside an egg. Professor John Brookfield, from England's university of Nottingham concluded that because of this, the living organism inside the eggshell would have had the same DNA as the chicken it turned into.

The specialist in evolutionary genetics wasquoted saying "Therefore the first living thing which we could say unquivocally was a member of the species would be the first egg. The egg came first.

Brookfield's conclusion was backed up by Professor David Papineau, of King's College, London, and in the chairman of the trade body Great Bristish Chicken, Charles Bourns.

"The concusion therefore must be that the egg came first and the chicken afterwards" he said."Eggs were around long before the first chicken arrived" he affirmed".

When will Google launch GMail??

I just wonder when GMail will finally be launched. It has been in Beta for a long time and wonder when Google will finally launch it. GMail has revolutionized E-Mail due to its vast features. I think it is the first email facility with an integrated Chat feature. It also has an option of "Starring" important mails. Its huge storage is a challenge for spammers (Though, you hardly get spam!!). I have become really fond of GMail and think it will go far. I have invitations and will gladly offer them.
